Feb 16 (V7N) – Islamic University (IU) hosted a vibrant alumni reunion on Friday at the Birshreshta Hamidur Rahman Auditorium, bringing together former and current students in a lively gathering. The event was organized by the IU Alumni Association and featured a series of activities celebrating the bond between past and present members of the university.
The reunion was presided over by Reunion Association Convenor Nazmul Haque Saydi, with IU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah as the chief guest. Special guests included:

The event was moderated by PSTU Student Advisor and IU Syndicate Member Dr. Jillor Rahman and Arabic Language and Literature Department Professor Dr. Kamrul Hasan.
During his speech, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah emphasized the importance of alumni engagement, stating, "The Alumni Association serves as a crucial platform for former students to contribute to the university's development." He encouraged alumni to take an active role in research, lab development, seminars, library expansion, and infrastructure projects.
The reunion concluded with networking sessions, cultural performances, and heartfelt reminiscences from alumni, making it a memorable occasion for all attendees.
